Journal of Korean Academy of Fundamentals of Nursing

(Qualification) Manuscript review board members should be selected based on the following criteria:

1) As a principle, the manuscript review board members should have published at least 5 articles in Journals recognized by National Research Foundation of Korea, be Ph.D degree holders, college professors, or persons who are considered to have equal qualifications, and are familiar with the latest knowledge of each research field.
2) Conceptual and Regional distribution should be considered.

(Member Quota) The number of review board members should be around 90 and include an English edition committee member
(Procedure) The compilation committee chairperson recommends appropriate compilation members from among national professors who specialize in nursing and who meet the criteria for manuscript review board members. The compilation committee reviews the recommended persons and the president of the academy and appoints them as review board members after receiving approval at a board of directors meeting of the Korean Academy of Fundamentals of Nursing.
(Service term) The term of service for a manuscript review board member is designated as 2 years, which can be consecutively served in the following 2 years.
(English edition member) A qualified person who can edit English abstracts of submitted papers should have a foreign Ph.D degree, be someone who can be equally evaluated as a native English speaking nursing professor, or who may have similar capabilities.

(자격) 논문심사위원은 다음의 기준에 의거하여 선정한다.

1) 논문심사위원은 한국연구재단(구 학술진흥재단) 등재 학술지 이상의 학술지에 최근 5년간 5편 이상 논문을 주 저자(제1저자 및 교신저자)로 게재한 경험이 있으며, 논문을 심사할 수 있는 자격을 갖춘 자로서 박사학위 소 지자, 대학교수 또는 그와 동등한 능력이 있다고 인정된 자, 각 연구 분야에 대해 최신지견을 갖춘 자를 원칙으로 한다.

(정원) 심사위원 수는 영문교정위원 1인을 포함하여 90명 내외로 한다.
(절차) 전국 간호학 교수 중 논문심사위원 기준에 적합한 위원을 편집위원장이 추천하면 편집위원회에서 심의하고 기본간호학회 이사회의 인준을 거쳐 학회장이 위촉한다.
(임기) 논문심사위원의 임기는 2년으로 하며, 연임할 수 있다.
(영문교정위원) 논문의 영문초록을 교정할 수 있는 자격을 겸비한 자로서 국외 박사학위를 소지하거나 native speaker인 간호학 교수 또는 그와 동등한 능력이 있다고 인정된 자를 원칙으로 한다.
