  1. (Qualification) Manuscript review board members should be selected based on the following criteria:
  2. 1) As a principle, the manuscript review board members should have published at least 5 articles in Journals recognized by National Research Foundation of Korea, be Ph.D degree holders, college professors, or persons who are considered to have equal qualifications, and are familiar with the latest knowledge of each research field.
    2) Conceptual and Regional distribution should be considered.

  3. (Member Quota) The number of review board members should be around 90 and include an English edition committee member
  4. (Procedure) The compilation committee chairperson recommends appropriate compilation members from among national professors who specialize in nursing and who meet the criteria for manuscript review board members. The compilation committee reviews the recommended persons and the president of the academy and appoints them as review board members after receiving approval at a board of directors meeting of the Korean Academy of Fundamentals of Nursing.
  5. (Service term) The term of service for a manuscript review board member is designated as 2 years, which can be consecutively served in the following 2 years.
  6. (English edition member) A qualified person who can edit English abstracts of submitted papers should have a foreign Ph.D degree, be someone who can be equally evaluated as a native English speaking nursing professor, or who may have similar capabilities.
